A video shared on social media shows the gigantic animal stranded on Puná Island, in Ecuador which was returned to the water, thanks to the efforts of many people.

A humpback whale strayed out of its way and ended up stranded on the beach of an island in Ecuador. Thanks to the support of various institutions and people, the animal was returned to the sea. The video of the event was shared on social media,where it quickly went viral and amazed thousands of users.

Humpback whales are among the largest animals on the planet and despite their power and size, they sometimes need our help, as demonstrated on Puná Island on September 4.

The villagers found one of these cetaceans stranded on the beach, so they immediately organized a rescue plan to save the animal.

It took more than 7 hours, boats, ropes and 37 people, including officials, sailors and volunteers, to achieve the objective successfully. People were extremely moved to see the whale taking its first flick of its tail in deep water.
The news quickly went viral on different social networks, where several users left emotional comments about the incredible rescue.
