We have no idea how beautiful it would be to see other planets this up close, this viral video will blow your mind.

Sometimes science fiction movies and series give us incredible insights about the universe, this YouTube channel recreates as accurately as possible what the planets from our solar system would look like seen from Earth.

The channel Yeti Dynamics belongs to an astronomer named Nicholas Holmes, who makes videos about space. Although the footage is really impressive, the film neglects to mention all the physical consequences that would imply if those planets were that close.

For example, if Jupiter were as close to Earth as the Moon, our planet would trigger strong and violent volcanic activity on Earth.

To achieve these clean and accurate results, Holmes works with 3Ds Max software. The job is so well done, that his work is endorsed by experts like, James O’Donoghue, a planetary scientist working at the Japanese space agency, JAXA, said that the sizes of the planets in the video were accurate.

James clarified that the most precise thing is in the proportionate stars and the visual distance. Some inaccuracies have to do with the physical phenomena, the lighting, the inclination and speed.

Despite the inaccuracies, the recreations made by Yeti Dynamics on their YouTube channel are still impressive and beautiful.
