DC Comics wants to rip open a new era of crossovers, and with the thousands of ads they released about their DCFandome event, it is clear that of their plans are falling on the right track. The rumor that was revealed on Batman Day is that Warner Bros. is also looking for George Clooney to return as The Dark Knight, without the bat-nipples of course, for the movie Flashpoint.

Earlier in the year, The CW and DC Comics surprised the Nerd community with their adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths in the Arrowverse. Here they did what Marvel has never dared to do: Unite all their existing universes into a single Multiverse.

How about that? Ezra is one of a kind. So glad we could make this happen and keep it a secret until today. Thank you to @dccomics.

We witnessed the Robin of the Batman series from the 60s, Flash from the 90s, the Clark Kent Tom Welling from Smallville, Brandon Routh as Superman, Lucifer Morningstar Tom Ellis, Kevin Conroy, the Doom Patrol, and many more. But the coolest was Ezra Miller’s Flash with Grant Gustin, the scene that took us all by surprise.

Now, after seeing that and and the excitement and passion that fans had watching Crisis, DC and Warner are thinking about preserving the DCEU with the same technique in Flashpoint, considering that Michael Keaton was confirmed as Bruce Wayne.

The media portal Fandowire, stayted exclusively that Warner has already approached George Clooney and asked him to return as Batman. If accepted, Chris O’Donnell, who was the Robin of these terrible films, will also return.

In addition, the same site says that they have approached Val Kilmer, and due to the script lending itself for more cameos, Warner wants to get Christian Bale to reprise his version of Batman. Grant Gustin is also said to be in talks to appear in the movie.

But not everything ends there, the source speaks of one more cameo, the best and most talked about cameo of all time: Nicolas Cage as Superman. In the 90s, Tim Burton tried to make this movie but it never flew off. Now we can only wait.
