It is almost impossible not to relate ‘The Witcher’ from Netflix and ‘Game of Thrones’ from HBO, both share scenarios of medieval environments, monsters, and iconic fights. But there is an actual connection between ‘The Witcher’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ that unites both series in a way that most people don’t actually know about.

Both productions share Vladimir Furdik better known as ‘Furdo.’ In ‘The Witcher’ he was responsible for the most iconic fights and in ‘Game of Thrones’ he gave life to the villain Night King, along with aiding behind the scenes.

‘Furdo’ published a photo with actress Anya Charlotra who plays Yennefer in ‘The Witcher’ and with that epic post prompted numerous comments about her possibly taking part in the next Game of Thrones series.

In ‘Game of Thrones’ he was a stunt coordinator in the first five seasons of the series, his extraordinary work made him a prospect for the Geralt of Rivia series. He was put in charge of coordinating almost all the fights scenes in the first season of ‘The Witcher’, except one, the Blaviken fight, coordinated by Wolfgang Stegemann.
