Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the first installment of “Frozen” won at the box office a collection of more than 1,200 million dollars and two Oscars: Best Animated Film and Best Original Song for ‘Let It Go.’
The second installment of Frozen has already broken records months before its premiere in theaters. Disney released on its social channels, the first trailer from “Frozen 2” and it is now the most watched animation teaser in history. In just three days, the teaser has accumulated more than 21 million views on YouTube and more than 116 million in general, bringing down the recent first place which was “The Incredibles 2.”
Keep in mind that the total number of views, as pointed out by Deadline, does not only come from what you get on YouTube, but also the figures recorded in other social networks that the company is involved in. The desire of fans to hear about Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff has allowed Frozen 2 to break this internet record.
Breaking records is not something new for Disney. Almost every new trailer that has been launched from the Mickey Mouse company has broken records. For example, the long awaited teaser from “Avengers: Endgame” is the most recent from the list that keeps growing. It harvested in its first 24 hours a historical record of 286 million views. In second place was the new installment of “The Lion King.”
Ranking in third place is another production from the Disney conglomerate, this time again it was Marvel Studios with ‘”Avengers: Infinity War.” It generated 238 million views.
Thank you to the fans around the world for making the teaser trailer for #Frozen2 the most viewed animation trailer of all time, with a record-breaking 116.4 million views in 24 hours! pic.twitter.com/wSYj4QkiyI

In the new teaser of “Frozen 2,” the fans saw details that do not go unnoticed. The first is the presence of two new characters: a girl with reddish hair and a young blonde who falls on the fallen leaves of the trees. The second and most striking is the lugubrious beginning that shows Elsa facing the waves of a raging sea.
