The Mortal Kombat movie has found its Sub-Zero. We refer to the actor and martial arts teacher Joe Taslim, who will be responsible for giving life to the ninja who is able to freeze and rip out your head and spine with one blow.
James Wan is in charge of producing this film, while Simon McQuoid will direct it. Joe Taslim is famous for his roles in films like The Raid, Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Beyond and The Night Comes for Us.
At the moment there is no information related to the story, but we do not doubt that we will see an adaptation of some of the plots from the recent Mortal Kombat games. Currently, Greg Russo is in charge of this department and has remained quite silent every time someone has the opportunity to question him about what this film will be about.
Taslim will begin filming during the second half of this year in Australia. At the moment, we still do not know the full cast of the film, but if they have revealed one actor the rest will be revealed soon.
