The ‘Black Panther’ film was a before and after in the MCU, being the first feature film nominated within the most important categories of the Academy Awards, in addition to having become one of the fan favorites, for it to have a planned sequel was more than expected. Now there is talk that within some movies, T’Challa could marry a member of the X-Men.
The solo debut of the character living in Wakanda became one of the most successful movies in MCU history that didn’t have the word “Avengers” in its title. Many fans felt that Panther’s role was somewhat curtailed in ‘ Avengers: Infinity War ‘ and ‘ Avengers: Endgame ‘, so many are already looking forward to its sequel to resume watching the adventures of Black Panther.
Now a rumor spiraling around the media suggests that the studio is planning to marry off T’Challa with Storm. Something that would not be anything new for comic fans, who already know that this is an inevitability derived from the pages of ‘Black Panther Vol. 4’.
According to sources, Storm will be among the first X-Men to be introduced to the MCU, specifically so that she and T’Challa can cross paths at some point in the plan for the new phases of the films from Marvel Studios, but this could also cause, as it is known from the comics, Black Panther’s retirement, and leaves Shuri his place to be the new Black Panther.
For now it is not known for sure in which movie, T’Challa will marry Storm, but what is already a fact is that ‘Black Panther 2’ has an upcoming release date for May 6, 2022. and will be part Phase 5 of the MCU.
