The ‘Terminator’ franchise has had a significant amount of movies, however, after the first two installments, it has not had a good reception from the public and critics even though for ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ we saw the return of Linda Hamilton in the title role and James Cameron involved. But apparently, Paramount refuses to end the franchise, since it has been reported that a new installment is being sought after and we will see John Cena and Margot Robbie in the ‘Terminator’.
Terminator: Dark Fate’ hit theaters in 2019 and was a continuation of ‘Terminator 2’ , in addition to showing an interesting twist to the story, but the movie did not convince the audience and despite having a considerable amount of returning actors, it was not good enough to continue with the story.
According to information from media reports, they are looking to incorporate John Cena and Margot Robbie in the ‘Terminator’, mostly, because they are looking to give a new twist to the franchise and apparently they will put aside, this time, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton to tell a new history, although it has not been ruled out that it may be some kind of remake.
Currently the WWE wrestler is having great relevance in Hollywood, since he joined the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise and the superhero genre with the role of Peacemaker for the DC Extended Universe, like Margot Robbie with her role of Harley Quinn. The idea of seeing them together in another action story and science fiction is not far-fetched.
