The Murder Hornet appears to have a predator. In the past few days, it has shown up in the US after somehow finding its way from Japan. It causes concern because of its ability to kill bees, mice and with enough stings, a human. A video going viral on social networks, shows how a praying mantis pins down this particular wasp.

This is not the first time that the fearsome insect has been proven vulnerable. Despite the fact that domestic bees will suffer the most from the hornet’s arrival, it has been discovered that they can also defend themselves without using their stinger.

The bees use one of their members as bait. When the homicidal insect tries to kill it, the entire colony imprisons it and make use of its hum to produce a temperature that exceeds the animal’s limits, killing the beast.

The video below, shows how the mantis manages to subdue the wasp in its entirety using its two front pincers. The insect of the Mantidae family begins to chew on the head of the hornet and ends up devouring it completely.

Therefore, we must form an alliance with King Mantis, pray it is done before the hornets plot they’re attack.
