If trips to our natural satellite are not accessible to ordinary people, others find solutions to explore it. This is the case of Andrew McCarthy, an American passionate about astronomy and photography. He has just created, after several weeks of work, certainly the clearest photo of the surface of the Moon that we have ever seen, from his garden!
The photographer loves spending his time scanning the sky with his telescope and cameras from his garden in Sacramento. Last April, McCarthy released one of his best photos of the Moon after two weeks of hard work.
To achieve this result, Andrew had to choose the most contrasting shots taken during the different phases of the Moon and then merge them together. And the result is incredible! You can see all the smallest details of the lunar soil with extreme precision.
