The arrival of COVID 19 has dealt a severe blow to the film industry. Aiming to prevent its spread and becoming more infected, many movies and series were forced to stop filming in recent days.
Upstream to these measures taken by other projects, Matrix 4 will continue its filming as originally scheduled, as announced by source Justin Kroll through his social networks.
Sources telling me MATRIX still in production as majority of shoot is in soundstage in Berlin where they are taking precautions while KING RICHARD shoot has already been reworked because of bad weather in Los Angeles

It should be noted that the fourth installment of the Matrix is scheduled for release on June 25, 2021, the same date that the new installment of the John Wick saga will also launch its new installment.
This way, fans won’t have to wait any longer to see Keanu Reeves in his legendary role as Neo.
At the moment, the Warner Bros. production has not revealed its official synopsis, but important details about it were revealed thanks to the leaks from the filming set.
The Matrix 4 is believed to be a prequel, as a young actor is being sought to play Morpheus, previously played by Laurence Fishburne. Also, it is important to remember that both Neo’s character and Trinity passed away in Matrix Revolutions.
