A mixed martial artist from Slovakia, broke a Guinness World Record by throwing 322 punches in a single minute; The fighter was filmed while accomplishing this feat and has quickly become a legend on social networks.

The fighter is 25-year-old Pavel Trusov, who told the Guinness World Record that he trained day and night for six months to exhaustion with an exercise routine that included CrossFit, weight lifting, and interval work before officially submitting his audition.

As the video will prove, his intense training paid off, judging by what was recorded on video, one can appreciate the great determination that this martial arts fighter has while trying to deliver as many punches as his physical body can achieve.

Pavel Trusov said he had to make sure he followed the Guinness World Record rules, which require that each stroke be a “full extension stroke,” meaning that his arm must be fully extended with each swing he makes.

The athlete, who has been practicing in martial arts since he was 6 years old, achieves a new record for most hits in 60 seconds by being able to hit the pads 322 times in an interval designated by Guinness, in order to earn the recognition.

Tursov said it was due to this training that he learned how incredible muscle pain can be. However, the unconditional support from his family was the best motivational medicine to achieve his goal.

In the viral video, Pavel is shown in front of another fighter who holds the pads to absorb the impact of his punches, around them is a crowd of people who are filming the event, and holding the stopwatch displaying the time to notify the martial artist.
