After announcing his candidacy for the presidency of the United States, rapper Kanye West gave an interview talking about his plans in case he comes to win the election. He talked about America needing special people that lead, his stance on Abortion, a COViD vaccine, and his plans to run the US based on the secret country of Wakanda. While discussing all of this, he occasionally breaks into spontaneous freestyle raps, (“If I catch a vibe, I’m gonna catch a vibe”). Now let’s move on to Wakanda…

During his interview, he shared that he plans to run the White House: just like Wakanda, the fictional Black Panther country.

With Forbes, West explained his line of reasoning and shared that he is attracted to the way T’Challa works with Wakanda scientists in the Marvel Studios film.

“Many Africans do not like the movie [Black Panther] and representation of themselves in… Wakanda. But I’m gonna use the framework of Wakanda right now because it’s the best explainatiom of what our design group is going to feel like in the White House, he said. He continued, “it’s a positive idea: you have Kanye West, one of the most powerful humans – I’m not saying ‘the most powerful’ because you have many alien-level superpowers and only collectively could we set it free.”

He continued: “Let’s go back to Wakanda… Like in the movie, in Wakanda, when the king went to visit that lead scientist to have the shoes wrap around her shoes. Just the amount of innovation that could happen, the amount of innovation in medicine – like big pharma – we are going to work, innovate, together. […] It will be a mixture of big pharma and holistic,” said the rapper.

Among the many things discussed in the interview, Kanye West reinforced his thoughts on controversial issues, such as his position against abortion and the creation of a vaccine for COVID-19 – which he believes is “the mark of the beast”.

Kanye West is an award-winning rapper and music producer who owns 12 studio albums. He is married to socialite Kim Kardashian.
