What was believed to be a streaming error, has now been confirmed to be a purposeful attack on Zack Snyder’s Justice League success.

One of the most anticipated releases of 2021 is Zack Snyder’s cut from ‘Justice League’, the remake of the 2017 film that did not meet the fan’s expectations, especially after discovering that Joss Whedon made significant changes to the story. After years of campaigns on social networks under the hashtag “#ReleaseTheSnyderCut”, Warner Bros. gave the green light and is ready to launch the movie. However, in the last few hours, they reported the film was leaked, and some people have already seen an hour’s worth. What happened?

According to information from The Hollywood Reporter, when users tried to see the new live-action movie of ‘Tom and Jerry’, which is a success at the world box office, the new ‘Justice League’ played instead. An HBO Max spokesperson said in a statement: “Zack Snyder’s Justice League was temporarily available on HBO Max and the bug was fixed within minutes.

This situation became trending on Twitter on Monday night after user Doug Bass commented, “Someone’s getting fired… Tom and Jerry this is not. Then he spoke with the THR site and assured that he tried to watch ‘Tom and Jerry’ but rather, was able to access an hour of the next DC Comics premiere until it cut out.

According to a post, presumably by the Buggs Bunny corporation, after an investigation conducted by Warner Bros themselves, it was found that the movie was purposely released ahead of schedule, to tarnish the movie’s reputation. It claimed the people involved in deliberately leaking the film have been fired. A quick response that surprised many fans.

In the publication the account brought up a delicate issue, which might be ongoing for who knows how long, since they mentioned executives who were also exposed for attempting to ruin the film’s already promoted, and anticipated release. Nonetheless, it did not specify the consequences for these high-positioned employees who, if anyone can venture to guess, might have been responsible for many other DC movie failures.

Unfortunately, this is not a real Warner Bros account account and the official reason for the leak has not been disclosed. Many fans were hopeful this was true but quickly realized the account was fake.

Many subscribers to the streaming service had access to Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ when they tried to see the other film. Some of them shared screenshots with spoilers and released them online. Twitter sent removal notices on behalf of Warner to try and stop the images before its official premiere.
