Residents of a town, located in the Thai province of Tak, last Saturday saved a stray cat that was attacked by a huge python.
The viral video was recorded by a camera installed in a car and was broadcasted by local media, it shows the moment when the feline is trapped by a python in the middle of the street.
The video shows how the cat writhes desperately on the asphalt, but cannot escape from the reptile, twisted around it.
But a group of villagers came to the cat’s aid. One of them soccer kicked the python hard, but couldn’t scare it away. The snake released its prey only when the locals began to beat it with sticks and metal bars.

Eventually, the predator gave up, intimidated, fled, and the cat was able to get free.
