Imagine for a moment a cross-over between Harry Potter and Star Wars, in which we would witness a fight between two characters, each belonging to one of these two fictional universes. Which emblematic weapon of these sagas would be the most powerful, the magic wand or the saber?
For example, if Hermione Granger were to face Darth Maul, or if Obi-Wan Kenobi found himself face to face with Bellatrix Lestrange on level ground, who would win, the sorcerer or the user of the Force?
These two weapons are incredibly formidable in their own way. The sabers produce a powerful heat capable of piercing or cutting any material, whether it is flesh or a metal. Obviously, if a sorcerer waits until a Sith or a Jedi is nearby to cast a spell on him, their magic wand will not hold them off… However, when dark mages have in their possession these magic weapons, they can cast terrible spells in order to wound their adversary, scarifying them or outright ending them. From a distance, the possibilities of destroying or hurting are much greater with a magic wand.
