‘GREEN LANTERN CORPS’: THE MOVIE CHRISTOPHER NOLAN APPEARS TO BE SHOOTING IN SECRET FOR DC

We know that a ‘Green Lantern Corps’ film has been in the works for some time, with Geoff Johns at the writing helm. It was rumored that Tom Cruise would be the protagonist, but we have not heard anything about it since (not even about the film) except that it will be released in July 2020.

On the other hand, we also know that Christopher Nolan is preparing his new film, with John David Washington and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles.  The secrets surrounding this production are unpronounceable… the only thing we know is that the release date, will be in July 2020. Who does that? Why are they like this? Well follow the clues.

For a few weeks, the Internet has been theorizing about what Nolan’s new project will be and now that we know who the protagonists will be, and when their premiere date is, it’s fun to imagine that maybe, just maybe, the DC and Nolan paths have once again crossed.

CLUE NUMBER 1: Release Date

The ‘Green Lantern Corps’ movie is fixed in the DC / Warner calendar for July 17, 2020.

Christopher Nolan’s film is set to be released on July 17, 2020.

CLUE NUMBER 2: The Protagonists

We know that Geoff Johns is writing a script about ‘Green Lantern Corps’ with Hal Jordan and John Stewart as protagonists, it will be a sort of ‘buddy movie.’ These two characters are different incarnations of Green Lantern.

The only description we have at this moment of the new film by Christopher Nolan is that it will be an action blockbuster. Is this enough evidence to support that ‘Lantern Corps’ is the superhero movie he’s working on? It would really help DC create another epic movie saga like the Dark Knight Trilogy.
