After the end of ‘Game of Thrones’, failed to convince most of the fans, HBO will try to claim them again and produce a spin-off of the series. Apparently it will arrive much earlier than we expected, since Casey Bloys has revealed the release date of ‘House of the Dragon’.

Without a doubt, ‘Game of Thrones’ has become one of the best television series that has existed, its incredible scenes, the complexity of its plot and the powerful nature of its characters, making it the best HBO production. It was imminent that the producers created a new program based on the series.

House of the Dragon’, will be based on the book ‘Fire and Blood’, by George RR Martin, and will serve as a prequel to ‘Game of Thrones’, since it will take place three hundred years before the events we saw in the series, and will focus on the Targaryen house.

In an interview with Variety, Casey Bloys, head of HBO programming, said the series is likely to arrive in the year 2022. “They are in the room breaking story right now,” said Bloys. “My guess is we’ll see it on the air in ’22.” he explained.

Also, Bloys said that this prequel was easier to produce because, “One of the benefits of ‘House of the Dragon’ is there was a text from George and there was a little bit more of a roadmap,” said Bloys.

Well now at least we have a release year for ‘House of the Dragon’, which is sometime in 2022, so fans of the series still have time to read the novel, if they want to know some of the elements that are sure to turn up in the show.
