When the Arrowverse crossover began in December, director Marc Guggenheim declared that there were many surprises that were going to drive DC fans crazy. The premiere of the last two episodes proved that point by having Ezra Miller’s cameo in ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’.

In an interview with MTV, in 2015, Ezra Miller had commented on the multiverse and how having more than one Flash is not uncommon. He called it a ”parallel universe, ” and this crossover prediction came true.

Throughout the five episodes of this huge Arrowverse event, they featured several cameos from DC comic adaptations. Tom Welling and Erica Durance were seen reprising their roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane from ‘Smallville’ and even Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar from ‘Lucifer’ showed up.

But The CW series reserved the best for last, they had the special participation of the actor who brings Flash to life in the DC Comics Extended Universe movies.

Ezra Miller shows up on ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ and it’s mind blowing! It happens in the fourth episode of the crossover, the one that corresponds to ‘Arrow’ show, at the moment when Barry Allen from the Arrowverse begins to look for the paragons in the events that took place on the life Oliver Queen

Suddenly the hero played by Grant Gustin arrives at Star Labs, when he notices his DCEU counterpart. Of course, they freak out with each other and wonder what in the Speed Force is going on?

After being surprised, with each others presence, very much in a Flash comedic way, both Flash introduce themselves as Barry Allen and compliment their respective uniforms.

Flash Arrowverse is astounded to see that there is still life in the multiverse, while Flash DCEU fades away saying “I told Victor this was possible.” Grant Gustin continues with his search to find the other six Paragons.

It is true that the DCEU has not been very consistent when it comes to their films, particularly the ‘Flash’ which has been delayed on several occasions. But still, having Ezra Miller show up to do a full blown movie and TV show crossover is awesome. This is every Nerds dream.
