A giant squid was filmed by divers off the coast of Tokyo, Japan. Experts estimate that he is about 12-foot long and quite young. The cephalopod could be seen for more than an hour among the fishing boats of Toyama Bay, north of the country.

It so happens that it is an Architeuthis squid, an animal that usually lives in the depths of the oceans. With eight limbs and huge eyes, they can reach up to 9.8 inches in diameter, this giant squid did not go unnoticed among the inhabitants of the region and the world.

Despite it being 12 feet in length, this type of squid usually reaches 33 feet, when it comes to males, and a whopping 46 feet has been recorded for females.
