For many years, thanks to movies, anacondas have gained popularity for being extremely dangerous. However, this man concluded that this might not be credible and decided to swim alongside one of these huge animals.
The official channel of El Dodo was responsible for publishing this video, in which Bartolomeo recounted how his encounter with this colossal animal unfolded in the Amazon River. In the first seconds you can see how he brings his camera up to the face of the animal and it barely moves, while explaining that these specimens do not attack people.
An instant later, he reveals how he is able to swim alongside the anaconda and it completely ignores him, while remaining calm and simply continuing on its way. In addition, he explained that such a reptile can measure more than 20 feet in length and weigh up to 500 pounds.
Finally, the diver explains that the purpose of making this incursion was so that people are not prejudiced with these animals and prove that this species can be conserved.
