Very little is known about The Batman movie, but some recently revealed plot details shed some light on what Matt Reeves is planning for the cape crusader, who will be played by Robert Pattinson.

There has been a lot of confusion among fans about why Matt Reeves would choose to include so many villains in The Batman, but now it seems that there really is a very good reason for that. As expected, the film will revolve around a classic “Whodunnit” plot that will test the best detective in the world who will investigate a series of strange murders.

According to Daniel Richtman, this is what leads the Dark Knight to track down some of his best-known villains for questioning. Each new clue will guide him to a distinct villain. As we have learned, the villain list will include The Penguin; The riddle; The Mad Hatter; Catwoman; Firefly and Two Face.

The script of The Batman seems to be finished and filming is expected to begin very soon in the United Kingdom.

While it’s a shame we can never see what Geoff Johns and Ben Affleck had planned for their version of The Batman (who would have faced the hero against Deathstroke), this honestly sounds like a perfect version of the character.
