More than 1.3 million people have responded favorably to a risky initiative that is being driven through the Facebook platform: “storm” Area 51, a mysterious US military base located in the Nevada desert.
The proposal attempts to gather a crowd big enough to enter in these facilities, where fans of extraterrestrial life believe that the authorities are keeping confined beings from other planets who have visited Earth, as well as their “flying saucers.”
The call has also generated countless memes and comments. A large number of these are simple jokes, while others take the call more seriously and choose to warn of the obvious risks of trying to forcefully enter a military base.
