Apparently, Chris Hemsworth being able to interpret the God of Thunder, does not depend on him, nor on Marvel. It has been revealed that Elsa Pataky has placed a condition on her husband. Drastically, it seems that this will not be easy for the actor.
If actors ever had the opportunity to play one of Marvel’s greatest superheroes, they would obviously want to keep a memory of that event and what better way to do it than to take home a part of the outfit. Why not take home Iron Man’s helmet, Captain America’s shield or the Mjolnir of Thor?
Well, this is precisely what Hemsworth has been doing every time filming has ended. He keeps the hammer he has used in every movie in which he has personified the hero, although many would like to have in in their house at least one Mjolnir, not everyone shares this idea, as is the case with Elsa Pataky, the actor’s wife.
In an interview with Fitzy & Wippa radio station, Elsa revealed that he has told Hemsworth that if he wants to play Thor again, he must stop taking hammers home once the shooting of the film has ended.
“We have five of them from every movie we’ve done, like, seriously, no.”
“Yes he always picks the best places in the house, and I’m like, ‘It’s not going there,'” Pataky said.
On the screen, the God of Thunder can face enemies like Thanos and Hela or get out of a difficult situation. However, at home he does not have the same luck. His wife is done with the excess amount of hammers and has laid it down herself. Mjolnir might have to go home with someone else after the next Thor adventure.
