MASK’s live-action movie has taken another step to become a reality. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount recruited Chris Bremner to write the script for this project that has been under development since the beginning of 2018.

The MASK movie will obviously be based on the line of figures that went on the market in 1985 and under the direction of F. Gary Gray ( Fast and Furious 8 ) intends to bring to the big screen the battle between the Mobile Armored Strike Kommand (MASK) and the evil organization VENOM (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem).

Bremner co-wrote the script for Bad Boys for Life and since that film did so well collectively, he will also be in charge of the story for the fourth installment of the franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. At the same time, the writer will also outline the story for National Treasure 3.

This project does not yet have a release date.
