Fox has just released the trailer for ‘Ad Astra,’ the long-awaited science fiction film by James Gray starring Brad Pitt whose release had already been delayed twice. This new release was accompanied by a lack of pre-release news.
‘Ad Astra’ is part of a story developed by Ethan Gross, screenwriter of several episodes of ‘Fringe.’ Gray himself is an engineer who travels through the solar system to find his father who disappeared 20 years ago on a mission trying to find signs of intelligent extraterrestrial life in Neptune.
The exhilarating cast of ‘Ad Astra’ also includes Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, Donald Sutherland, and Jamie Kennedy, the great horror movie lover from the ‘Scream’ saga. Another detail to take into account is that the cinematography is carried out by Hoyte van Hoytema, who already did that task for ‘Interstellar.’
