A sea creature found over three thousand feet deep transforms in front of the cameras.
The video broke the internet and amazed more than one million people who viewed it. The creature was recorded with the assistance of an underwater Remote Operation Vehicle (ROV).
You can see the critter being filmed from a distance as the camera zooms in and out. At first, the creature presents itself with a weird shape, suddenly, it transforms into a balloon like figure and swims at great speeds, drifting with sharp angles as it keeps up with the ROV’s propelled water flow. This beast of the ocean, most likely a ctenophore, also emitted glowing lights, a characteristic common to these jelly like animals.
According to the owners of the YouTube channel “Capitain JRD”, the footage did not undergo any kind of alteration and was captured during an ROV expedition deep in the Indian Ocean, on the east coast of the African continent.
