Oh great New Mexico. Known as one of the strangest and most mysterious places in the world, simply because there have been many UFO sightings, and presumed alien abductions, however the vast majority are not recorded and when the event occurs, the footage usually appears to be filmed by a two year old, or they are just too far away to clearly identify the object flying.
But presently, it has been reported, by the American Airlines pilot of Flight 2292, that they had a close encounter with a UFO mid-flight while in northeast New Mexico. The sighting occurred during a trip that took off from Cincinnati to Phoenix.
So far what we know, is that the sighting went viral because a recording was collected, which was captured by Steve Douglass on his blog, Deep Black Horizon, which was later verified by American Airlines.
In the recording, the pilot of Flight 2292 radioed that the UFO was flying right above them. The pilot is also heard narrating what was happening in real time:

When local media in New Mexico initiated the investigation about this spectacle, an American Airlines spokesperson confirmed that the radio broadcast was authentic, but failed to confirm whether it was a UFO.
