Fla Earthers are trying harder every day to find new ways to ridicule themselves and it even seems that they are competing with influencers to see who can get the most attention, but what this Flat Earther did can probably be considered as involuntary humor.
It turns out that a youtuber named Darryle Marble, convinced of being an intellectual for not believing in the curvature of the Earth, conducted an experiment in which, according to him, proves “the fallacy of the roundness of the Earth”, and he just made everyone laugh.
Marble took a plane from North Carolina to Seattle and brought with him a “level”, an instrument that measures the horizontality of a surface with the use of a bubble at its center. The device is commonly used in construction so that the walls are not uneven like the ones from your room.
According to the Illuminati flat-earther, if the center bubble of the level moved, it would be a sign that the Earth is round, but if not, then it is flat as he attests in the YouTube video.
The trip, which is a little more than 200 miles, would have to reveal a slope typical of our planet, leaving no room for doubt that his hypothesis was correct. The youtuber filmed the journey and uploaded it to his channel to “irrefutably prove that the Earth is flat.”
The main problem with this “experiment” is that airplanes almost always feel like they are traveling horizontally. They follow the pressures of the atmosphere parallel to the surface. Planes rise and fall, depending on the weather conditions, always gradually, maintaining that comfortable horizontal feeling. That is why, with this rudimentary device, it would be impossible to detect the change in the center of gravity, especially since gravity is perpendicular to the surface the airplane follows.
A more adequate device to evaluate the change in level of an airplane would be a gyro or a gyroscopic compass, which is probably unfamiliar to the conspiratorial individual.
The best part, is Marble’s face during the trip, the flat-earther is pleased to observe how the “level” consistently measured horizontality, proving that the plane was traveling in a “straight line”, confirming the Earth is flat, according to his theory.
