The Mandalorian series, which is part of the Star Wars univers, has already inspired many action figures and costumes. Adam Woodworth, an aerospace engineer and a big fan of the show, has paid a special tribute to the character incredibly adored by the public, Baby Yoda. The man built for him a cradle or capsule that actually flies, reports Gizmodo.

To recreate the character’s flight, Woodworth used a Baby Yoda figurine from the toy company Hasbro and built the flying capsule out of polycarbonate, a transparent amorphous thermoplastic.

“The project is based around a figure from the 6 inch scale Black Series line,” he explained.

In the video posted on YouTube, the engineer shows the crib in action, as well as its construction process. Unfortunately, the footage only includes a short flight time, albeit enough to show that Woodworth’s flying capsule works as intended.

“This build tested my patience, and vision, at times trying to get all the electronics to fit into the tiny shell,” Woodworth writes in the video description.
