Thanos has gone down in history as one of the most terrible scourges in the Marvel Universe. He terrorized the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the moat epic fashion, even people who were not familiar with the character grew to have a love-hate admiration for the Tiatan. This is why a fan decided to dedicate time and effort, creating life-size knitted Thanos.

Jenna Bates likes to knit, so her boyfriend gave her a challenge: to knit a full-scale Thanos. However, this was not an easy feat since Thanos is eight feet tall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Therefore it took a tremendous amount of wool to assemble the villain.

Jenna started knitting the life-size Thanos in May and just finished it. It has been her most ambitious project and it has cost her four months of work.

She began with the head:

Safe to say I definitely miscalculated the size of Thanos’ head, so I made a new one! New head vs old head here for comparison – I think the little one looks kinda cute now ☺️ #knitting #avengers #Thanos #marvel #endgame

And finally she revealed her masterpiece to the world, the Thanos of wool:

Not as compelling as the Thanos from the movies, but there is no denying that she took every detail into consideration:

In the end, the whole family participated in the project, Jenna’s brother made the structure that holds the doll, the boyfriend volunteered as model for her design and videos.

Unfortunately, You can’t buy the life-size Thanos made of wool, but you can buy other dolls woven by Jenna. Her Etsy shop ships from Chelmsford, England.
