The doctor managed to remove the insect that somehow to entered her auditory cavity.
A woman from Vietnam felt a strange buzzing in her head. Over time, what began as a small annoyance turned into a painful sensation that forced her to see a doctor. However, she never imagined that something was living inside her ear.
The images, captured in the office of the otorhinolaryngologist who attended to her and later shared on Facebook; allowed us to witness the exact moment in which the protagonist of the recording is viewed.
To end her suffering, it was necessary to resort to an endoscopy, which is a technique that involves introducing a camera to enter her ear canal.
Thus, in a matter of seconds, the doctor discovers that a moth had managed to enter the woman’s ear, which could be seen on a screen located behind them.
After inserting forceps, the doctor was able to catch the insect and remove it from the auditory cavity.
The event was being recorded by a witness, who could not help but be surprised by the unusual finding that ended up going viral on Facebook and other social media platforms.
“The moth was trying to find a way out and was hurting the woman’s ear,” said the doctor who appears in the footage posted on Facebook.
According to the protagonist of this story, the moth may have entered her ear “when she was walking down the street.”
The material shared on Facebook accumulated more than 100,000 reproductions and hundreds of comments from stunned users who expressed their astonishment!
