The DC and Warner Bros. are determined to renew the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) after Shazam!, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman’s success. There are several projects ready to be developed and they are willing to get them off the ground, such as one with the ex Robin, Nightwing.
According to a rumor from several specialized websites, a Nightwing movie is in progress. No details about the project, but the reports say Chris McKay, from the LEGO Batman: The Movie, is set to direct it, with Bill Dubique responsible for the script.
According to these sources, Warner Bros. is eyeing Zac Efron to play Nightwing, it’s not the only option on their list, but it is among the favorites for the role.
It is worth remembering that there is no official information about this project or that the production of the superhero is in development at DCEU. Currently, the character’s arc is being portrayed in the series Titans by actor Brenton Thwaites.
