The official trailer for the Aladdin film was recently released, we were able to listen to some of the classic songs and have a more detailed look at the genie that will be played by Will Smith.
This last point made has recieved the most comments on the Internet. On the one hand because in the first images that were released of the Genie he was not blue and on the other, because Will Smith was selected to portray one of the most beloved characters from Disney whch in the original version was played by Robin Williams.
Now with the trailer already released and some people coming around with a positive view of Smith’s character, the actor has decided to share a tribute to Robin Williams through his Instagram account.
The actor shared an illustration where you can see the two genies together, Robin Williams and Will Smith together. The image was accompanied by a text in which he states that “I know Genies don’t have Feet… But you left some Big Shoes to fill. 😊 R.I.P., Robin!”
It is worth mentioning that this live-action version of the film will be released on May 24.
