They did it again, the longest animated series in history is famous for predicting some historical events. The Simpsons foretold that the coronavirus was coming since 1993, it seems that they already knew what was going to happen with this new disease for more than 25 years.

The series of ‘The Simpsons’ has been on the air for more than 30 years and has so far more than 30 seasons. Even though fans of this series have expressed that the quality of the show has decreased in recent years, it does not exempt it from being one of the most watched television shows worldwide.

During an episode from the fourth season called ‘Marge in Chains’, we can see how the Simpsons predicted the coronavirus. At the beginning of the show we see how a disease shipped in packages from an Asian country, infects a large part of the population from Springfield, something similar to what is happening now and has cost the lives of several people.

After fans found the “similarity” with this episode, social networks began to flood with images of other famous predictions such as the presidency of Donald Trump, the Rolling Stones tour in 2010 and the purchase of Fox by Disney, among many others.

Apparently there will still be more predictions or coincidences coming to us from this series, because so far there is no guarantee that this program is coming to an end, especially since it is now part of the ranks of Disney. You never know, TV’s most famous yellow family might have a second film on its way.
