We Can Be Heroes, Netflix’s new movie set in the universe of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, is bringing a lot of nostalgia to the fans. Now, the first trailer for the feature has been released, headlining the daughter of the hero couple and revealing what their powers will be.
In We Can Be Heroes, aliens invade Earth and kidnap the best superheroes on the planet. This means saving the world is left up to their children, a group of super-powerful children, who need to use their special skills to rescue their parents and prevent the aliens from taking over the Earth.
In the trailer released today, the daughter of Sharkboy and Lavagirl appears to be able to manipulate water and use it to face her enemies, in addition to summoning a giant shark (also made of water) to help her on this intense mission.
We Can Be Heores opens worldwide at the turn of the year, January 1, 2021, on Netflix.
