The films of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ have revealed a lot of references from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, often almost imperceptible, since James Gunn has been extremely careful adding each of these. Among them is one of the characters that is popular within the franchise and very few people noticed that Beta Ray Bill or some other Korbinite appeared in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.

Beta Ray Bill is one of the few who has been able to lift Mjolnir in the pages of Marvel Comics, for which he was given an equal or even more powerful weapon, the famous Stormbreaker that was revealed in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ However, it appears as if this character has already been referenced, being that his face appeared in a column in ‘ Thor: Ragnarok ‘, hinting that he was one of the most important gladiators in Sakaar.

One of the references that went almost unnoticed was at the beginning of the film, Beta Ray Bill appears in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ or at least what’s left of this character. In the onset of the film, Peter Quill is seen on a planet in search of the Orb and while on his way, he dances and sings. It is at this point that he runs into a skeleton with a horse head, characteristics of the individual being discussed.

The possible appearance of Beta Ray Bill could finally arrive within phase 4 of the MCU in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ or in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 ‘ now that both movies will have a greater connection with Thor and his entire universe, in addition to already having the Stormbreaker, which could be passed on to the hands of this long-awaited character.
