The life of Princess Diana has gained great relevance in recent years, as she finally appeared in the acclaimed series ‘The Crown’ for Netflix, where she is played by Emma Corrin. Now a film is also in the works about this historical character and as part of the ‘Spencer’ promo, they released the first look of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana.
Kristen Stewart has been one of the most controversial actresses in Hollywood, since she had great pertinence due to her participation in the ‘Twilight’ saga, however, after the end of the franchise, she has not had much luck with her career and films like the reboot of ‘Charlie’s Angels’ of 2019 was poorly received by critics and the audience. Stewart was heavily besmirched for lacking expressions in many of her scenes.
Today the first image of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana was released through the Entertainment Weekly portal as part of the promotion for the film ‘Spencer’, which will be directed by Pablo Larraín. In this motion picture, we will get to see Princess Diana spending the Christmas holidays with the royal family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, at which point she decides to end her marriage to Prince Charles.
So far there is no official date for the premiere of this film but it is expected to arrive by the end of 2021.
