A couple of women have been causing a comotion for their ingenious way of walking their pets in times of coronavirus.
The elderly women stood on the balcony of their apartment, which is located on the second floor, to observe how high and difficult it could be to try to get their pets out of there.
After several minutes of intense conversation, the ladies came to a conclusive strategy so that their respective puppies could take a short walk on the sidewalk of the building and get some fresh air after being locked up for several days.
The first lady carefully lifted her chihuahua and began to lower it slowly to avoid frightening the animal, and after several minutes of walking it, the dog had to be lifted back up immediately before the authorities arrived.
The second woman did the same: she lowered her pet, allowing him to spend some time outside for several minutes, and then returned him to the interior of the apartment so that they can continue to be quarantined and avoid being infected by the coronavirus.
However, the women did not realize that they were being filmed by a neighbor who was in the front building, who posted the video on social media.
There was a controversial debate as a result of the video shared, where half of netizens criticized the actions of the elderly for exposing the health of their pets, who can acquire the Covid-19 virus, but not transmit it.

If the dog is in a harness, this is perfectly safe. If it was a collar, then you’d expect that dog to be flailing around.

She seems to be an older lady and the video is from Serbia, there is a curfew here because of COVID19 and people over 65 yo cant leave their home 24/7. It's on a harness, chill pls

He doesn't look uncomfortable, and it does look like a harness now that I take a closer look at it. I could see if he was struggling, but he has support under his arms and around his body. He isn't being choked. It's still stupid behavior, but…
