Titanic is a legendary movie that surpassed expectations, this film was released in 1997 and has been seen literally by almost everyone. All viewers are familiar with the tragic death of Jack, however, this theory might shed some light on why Rose could never have saved him.
We already know that Jack dies after the iceberg incident, yet many paradoxes have brought this film back trending, including a Twitter thread which establishes a theory that Jack never existed.
In a post shared by a user Luis_HMG, he revealed some rather convincing details about the film, which results in Jack being only a product of Rose’s imagination to overcome the trauma of what she has been through and the accident.
This post was shared on July 4 and has gone viral on social networks because according to this user, Jack, the character played by Leonardo DiCaprio does not fit in with the period in which the Titanic events unfold.
One of theories main points is that, apparently, Jack’s accessories such as the backpack, the hairstyle and even the events he talks about are all from different time spans. For example, his backpack is a design created in 1939 and his hairstyle came into fashion in the 30s.
Also, other details to notice arise when Jack mentions that he got on the roller coaster of the Santa Monica Bridge in 1916 or that he went fishing on Lake Wissota in 1917, when the Titanic incident transpired in 1912.
Here is the most important aspect of his premise, recall that Jack’s painting of Rose being naked was unsigned, and after the accident occurred, they looked through the survivors and deceased list, there was no records of him having existed anywhere.
Likewise, Rose is said to have created Jack in order to endure the traumatic experience from surviving the Titanic. Rose, raised wealthy and restricted, developed the concept of Jack, the life of a poor, and happy free man.
This is still simply a theory, but it has gone so viral that there is a possibility that it will reach the ears of ‘Titanics’ director James Cameron. He and only he can confirm or deny this theory.
