Peacock TV featured a never-before-seen introduction to The Office that paralyzes the Matrix trilogy.

This Friday, January 1, The Office left Netflix and moved to a new streaming platform that has was talked about since mid-2020: Peacock.

The NBC sitcom is one of the best comedy series in history and is considered one of the most successful of the genre. Created by Greg Daniels and starring Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jena Fischer and Rainn Wilson, it ran for 9 seasons as television series.

The Office ranked as the most-watched Netflix series in the United States for 12 months, and its success is compared to that of the show, Friends. However, in 2021, the series can be seen exclusively on Peacock.

To announce its arrival on the platform, Peacock released a never-before-seen clip of the series on their social networks. It comes from the last season and is a small parody of the classic science fiction trilogy, The Matrix.

In this scene, which is less than 5 minutes, we can see Jim and Pam playing a prank on Dwight, making him believe that he is in the Matrix and is chosen to change the world. However, his reaction is not what they expected.

Peacock announced that not only will the complete series be available, but for its Premium users there will also be extended episodes with more never before seen footage, behind the scenes and extended cuts. The basic Peacock service is completely free, while the Premium service has a monthly cost of $4.99.
