The possibility is due to Disney having bought Fox. With that, the group, which has now returned to Marvel, is probably going to have a reboot.
The question fans have is who will be the next Wolverine, now that Marvel’s important hero will no longer be played by Hugh Jackman.
The actor, who has played the character of the X-Men for almost 20 years, confirmed his retirement from the role. Hugh Jackman’s farewell was in Logan, 2017.
With that, Marvel fans are suggesting actors who could bring life to Wolverine and a new recommendation has emerged from Internet user Skull101ify.
The digital illustrator believes that Jon Bernthal, Marvel’s last Punisher, is perfect for the role of the X-Men. The actor is also known from the zombie series The Walking Dead.
The Marvel universe has also been silent about who fill in as the new Wolverine. Many rumors have already ensued.
Henry Cavill, DC’s Superman, and Keanu Reeves, from John Wick and The Matrix, were the last names linked to the role. Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter, has also been speculated.
What is confirmed is that the X-Men will be introduced to the MCU. The studio, however, has given no clue as to when.
