It’s been a great time for all those fans who were waiting for news of the cut that Snyder is preparing for HBO Max, which will be released at some point in 2021. As he reveals his version of an enemy that was greatly modified by Joss Whedon and his team, the director has now given us a new Steppenwolf design for his version of ‘Justice League’.
It should be noted that Whedon’s version was humanized, the point was to give a different version to a character that had in fact already been revealed before. In the movie ‘Batman v Superman’ there is a deleted scene where Steppenwolf appears with Lex Luthor, which looks a lot like this incredible image.
Steppenwolf’s new design for ‘Justice League’ reminds us that the director loved by many, continues to do his job despite the pandemic and that he is ready to submit his version on time. The fans have never let him down or deserted him, when he began his fight for his vision to see the light, they were by his side.
While the quality may not be the best, it gives us an idea of what to expect, not to mention that “it is something to behold” as he mentions in his post. The film will arrive sometime in 2021 on HBO Max, still without a date and without an approximate time of duration, but many believe that it could be a miniseries, which does not sound bad at all.
Whedon and WB used only part of everything Snyder had filmed, the version they had was very different from the director’s, so new takes may not be necessary, although that remains to be seen.
