After they announced the prequel novel to the dystopian saga “The Hunger Games” , fans could not wait for more details about “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”.
Suzanne Collins, author of the books, now revealed that the protagonist of the prequel is none other than Coriolanus Snow, the evil president of Panem based in the Capitol. The main antagonist of the franchise, of course his beginnings will not be so evil. That is, this will be a prequel that will present him in a benign way destined to be evil.
The story will take place 64 years before the events of the first book, shortly after the Great Revolution of the districts and the establishment of adolescent mortal competition. Meaning, when the dark days are reigning in Panem and its people.
Snow, far from being president, is a young student with great aspirations that must survive after the fall of his powerful family in the revolution. He will become the mentor of a girl from District 12 and will solely survive based on his intelligence.
