Through twitter, a fan page publicized Salma Hayek’s look as the character Ajak in ‘The Eternals‘, a forthcoming Marvel Studios adaptation directed by Chloé Zhao.
Apparently, the image is of a toy package, probably an action figure that will be released along with the original release date of the film, previously scheduled for November this year.
The box description says that Ajak is the spiritual leader of ‘The Eternals‘ and has the ability to heal others and to communicate with the Celestials, creators of all life in the shared Marvel Universe.
Predicted for February 2021, the film follows the journey of almost immortal beings, products of the evolutionary divergence that gave rise to the human race millennia ago. The characters relate to several concepts already introduced in previous films in the universe, from the Celestials (who showed up in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘) to Thanos, whose own mother was one of his victims.
