The Batman and the universe that Matt Reeves’ film seems to be creating has opened a wide range of possibilities of new characters iterations. Since details about the film starring Robert Pattinson have been revealed, many fans have opted for imagining characters played by leading actors and actresses.
One of those characters is Barbara Gordon, better known as Batgirl from the Bat-family. And one of the wagers for Batgirl to appear in the The Batman universe is the actress from Spider-Man: Far From Home and Euphoria, Zendaya.
The artist Mizuriau has shown what, according to him, Zendaya would look like playing Batgirl within the Matt Reeves universe. He has chosen the Batgirl outfit that we’ve seen in the Arkham video game franchise, then, implemented the actress’s face.
Considering how dark the Batman universe was that we got to see in the trailer, Zendaya wouldn’t be a far-fetched choice. However, if we take into account the timeline in which the film is set, at least for now it is unlikely that we will see a Batgirl accompanying Robert Pattinson’s Batman. Although we will see the character in season 3 of Titans.
