In that sense, of course, after the announcement, many fans began to wonder how the series would relate to ‘The Batman’ in terms of continuity. Although there are no official details yet, Variety reporter Justin Kroll said that the series would be a kind of prequel to the film.

As Kroll correctly points out, it is currently unknown if Robert Pattinson (Batman) and Jeffrey Wright (Jim Gordon) will appear in the series. No other details about the proposal of this production that aims to expand the world of the new Batman movie have been released. If everything goes as planned, the movie will debut next October 2021.
