Thanos is a member of the Eternals , as he was one of the last children of A’Lars, progenitor of the second colony of this group on Titan, and Sui-San. His body carries the ‘Deviant’ gene, the counterpart race to the Eternals, which are horrible-looking and very conflictive, for this reason they have purple skin and misshapen chins.
When his mother first saw Thanos, Sui-San went crazy and tried to eradicate him, claiming that the boy had the feeling of death in his eyes. For a long time, A’Lars raised the ‘Crazy Titan’ and his brother Eros alone. Despite his appearance, Thanos was loved by his companions. He became an intellectual introvert with the desire to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a scientist.
But little by little the Deviants’ wickedness flourished in him and he became a powerful villain in the Marvel Universe.
