One of the advantages of video games is that they allow us to meet people from all over the world, and at the same time forge friendships based on common interests.
One of these friendships forged through the internet, saved the life of a young man, after he suffered a seizure in his home in the United Kingdom, and was helped by his friend who was in the United States.
This gamer Dia Lathora, who lives in Texas, United States, and was talking to her friend from the United Kingdom, Aidan Jackson, 17. As was released by Liverpool Echo Newspaper, on January 2, while they played online, he began to feel bad, and Lathora noticed something was off.
When she realized that he was no longer responding, she immediately started looking for an emergency to call, especially since he had already mentioned before that he suffered from seizures. When she did not find the emergency number, she decided to call the police and give the young man’s address, so they could assist him.
This emergency call was made after 17-year-old Aidan Jackson suffered a seizure while chatting online to his friend in America.

Jackson’s parents were in the house without knowing what was happening in their son’s room, so when the police arrived and informed them that there could possibly be someone suffering an attack, immediately they understood the predicament.
Jackson was transferred to a hospital and once stabilized he was sent home.
After returning, both Jackson and his parents thanked Dia Lathora for her help.
Congratulations, #DiaLathora, you leveled up as a Healer. #GamingLife
