Recently, a fan published on Twitter an image of the first script version of ‘ Suicide Squad ‘, which reveals a scene starring Joker ( Jared Leto) which did not make the cut for the feature film.
The sequel in question headlines the villain trying to prevent Task Force X from saving Amanda Waller ( Viola Davis ) from Magic ( Cara Delevingne ) by threatening the characters with a detonator.

Shortly after, the same fan asked director David Ayer if the scene in question was ever shot. Ayer then replied:

The director also recently commented that the first cut of ‘ Suicide Squad ‘ was 2 hours and 45 minutes, the version released in theaters was 2 hours and 3 minutes .
